For me, listening to this album is like reconnecting with an old love. I hope all who listen find that same connection.

The Arcade Fire fan community Arcade Fire Tube points out confirmation of a rumor that’s been swirling around for a while now. James Murphy is, indeed, in the studio with Arcade Fire working on their forthcoming album.
According to a feature in Music Week about the Arcade Fire management team, manager Scott Rodger said, “They’re in with James Murphy on three or so songs, plus Markus Dravs who is a long-time collaborator. They write too many songs - that’s a good problem to have. There’s around 35 songs with Arcade Fire, two albums’-worth for sure.”
There’s no word yet on exactly when the new record will be ready, but it’ll likely be late next year.

WGRE Music would like to thank Fitz & the Tantrums for an amazing concert here at DePauw University! Our audio interview with Fitz will be posted soon!

Smile Smile has just been added to rotation at WGRE! This band has an intriguing history (Broken up couple- remind anyone of The White Stripes?) and fantastic music.
